For Example:
If you list an item at a starting price of $10.00, your listing fee will be $0.15. If the closing
price of your item is $20.00, the Success Fee will be $1.00. Your total charge would then be $0.15 +
$1.00 = $1.15.
-
Multi-Quantity or "Dutch Auction" Listings.
The Listing Fee is based on the starting price of your item or the reserve price if
you choose to utilize this feature. Refer to the chart above to determine the listing
fee, then multiply the listing fee by the quantity of items for sale. The maximum listing fee
for a multi-quantity auction is $1.50. The Success Fee is calculated individually for
each item that closes successfully.
For example: If you post an auction selling 10 items
with a starting price of $1.00 and a reserve price of $30.00, you would be charged
a listing fee of $0.35 x 10 items = $3.50. Since the maximum is $1.50, your total
listing fee is $1.50 Your reserve price fee is $0.50.
Let's say five items have a closing price of $30.00, and five items have a closing
price of $40.00. The final value fee for the $30 items are ($25 x 5%) + ($5 x 2.5%) = $1.38 each, or
$1.38 x 5 = $6.90 for these five items.
The final value fee for the $40 items are ($25 x 5%) + ($15 x 2.5%) = $1.63 each,
or $1.63 x 5 = $8.15 for all five.
The total final value fees are $6.90 + $8.15 = $15.05
Your total selling fees charge is:
$ 1.50 Listing fee
$ 0.50 Reserve Price Fee
+ $15.05 Final Value Fees
$17.05
