Can I rate users in the Consumer
Exchange?
After the close of a Consumer Exchange auction a winning buyer is welcome
to rate and post comments about the seller of that auction. In turn, the
seller may also post ratings and comments about the winning buyers.
If your auction has closed within the past 45 days, you can rate the
seller or buyer by going to the My Ratings link on My Page. Each winner
of a Consumer Exchange auction is allowed one rating of 1-5 stars and
one comment per auction. You will be asked to provide the seller's (or
buyer's) loginID and the auction lot #. You may then enter a ranking:
- Unacceptable
- Fair
- Good
- Great
- Exceptional
You are also encouraged to leave a comment. Your comments will be available
to all Consumer Exchange users and your rating will impact that individual's
overall rating.
Cautionary Note on Ratings:
Consumer Exchange Ratings are a valuable tool to offer
honest feedback with regard to your experiences with other buyers and
sellers in the Consumer Exchange. However, you should exercise caution
in making your comments and observe the following guidelines:
- You are solely responsible for your comments, and your comments are
attributed to you. uBid assumes no responsibility for your comments.
Your comments may not be retracted, edited or amended.
- Do not make comments that could be deemed libelous or slanderous.
Limit your comments to factual statements; avoid subjective and emotional
comments. You should consult an attorney if you have questions about
particular comments you wish to make, before making them.
- uBid urges sellers and buyers to cooperate with one another to resolve
disputes before posting complaints on this page.
