Bidding in the Consumer Exchange
(The Bidders Guide)
How do I bid?
Bidding in the Consumer Exchange is the same as bidding on uBid products.
You can use the same Login ID and password. Read more about how to bid
here.
What are the bidding
rules? How do I cancel a bid?
You are strictly prohibited from placing bids or causing bids to be placed on your own auctions. You are also strictly prohibited from placing bids or causing bids to be placed for the purpose of artificially increasing or otherwise manipulating the bidding process on uBid or the bid price of any product listed on the Site, or influencing user behavior on uBid. For additional information on uBid bidding rules, please visit here.
Why Should I Bid on a uBuy It Auction?
Have you ever seen an auction for an item you just had to have? Are you dying to purchase that item immediately because you don't want to go through the agony of "almost" winning - only to lose out to a last-second bidder?
These are just a few reasons you should consider auctions that have a uBuy It price. uBuy It allows you to buy an item immediately without having to wait for the auction to end - you know immediately that you have won the auction, and the seller begins working on completing the transaction that much faster.
For specific details on purchasing or bidding using uBuy It auctions, please refer to our uBuy It help page.

possible, and these guidelines will be enforced. Bidders who repeatedly
fail to comply with these guidelines will have their accounts disabled.

a transaction with the seller.

requirements for payment and shipping options. Buyers are not required
to complete any transaction with a seller if they are not comfortable
with the information provided to them by the seller.
- Payment for Consumer Exchange auctions is completed between Buyers
and Sellers. uBid is not involved in processing payments for Consumer
Exchange auctions.

This logo indicates that the auction was brought to you by a new seller (one who has not been rated by other Consumer Exchange user). Please be advised that new sellers may have closed auctions on the Consumer Exchange, but have not been rated yet by another user.
