How to ship to a different address?
NOTE: If you have orders shipped to an address other than where you receive your credit card billing statement, uBid may require that you register the alternate address with your credit card company. To register an alternate address for shipping purposes, simply call the customer service number on the back of your credit card, and provide the alternate address. Be sure to mention that the address is for shipping purposes only. Registering alternate shipping addresses can help expedite the processing of future orders.
Adding or updating a shipping address for each auction
At any time, you can go into your “My Account” section of “My Page” to add a new shipping address to your account.
If you have registered on uBid without a shipping address, you will be asked to enter one in your first bid. During the bidding process of an auction, you will be prompted with the current default address we have on file. At this point, you can create a new address or update any of the addresses we have on file.
Please Note:
If you have bids on open auctions and you change your address through My Page, this new address will not be changed on live bids. Please make sure to update your address during each bid on a specific auction.
All items in an auction must be shipped to the same address. If you win 5 items in one auction, all 5 must be shipped to one address. If you win 5 separate auctions, then you can ship each auction's items to 5 separate addresses.
If it is necessary for a shipping company to reroute your shipment to an alternate address, or correct your shipping address, your credit card will be charged an additional $5 for this service. Please note that in some instances, this service will not be available.
