Weigela – Pink - A beautiful flowering shrub, considered an old standard that I’ve seen in landscapes and gardens from Mississippi to Wisconsin. Always consistently covered in blooms in spring and often re-blooming throughout the summer.
We have a couple of the Pink Weigela in our landscape and let me say, in bloom, they are virtual hummingbird magnets.
They can grow to 10 foot tall and almost as wide with natural dropping branches if left untrimmed. However if you like a more formal look they can be trimmed to hedge forms for privacy and good looks. Pink Weigela can be grown in hedges, groupings or specimen plantings.
NOTICE: many of our plants and trees are shipped in a dormant condition. If you receive in dormant state soak overnight before planting. In general, these items can be planted anytime your ground is not frozen. An early snow or frost will not harm a nursery stock item that is already dormant. On the other hand, these items can also be planted during warm weather--simply be sure to water well.
IF POTTED: some will ship without the pot and with some dirt intact for safer shipping
